Holiday House
In December each year we have a Holiday House. This event, which is held at the Paxton Fire Station, is an opportunity for Scouts and other local youth to buy gifts for their friends and family. Shopping is open only for Scouts on Friday night and the general public on Saturday and Sunday.
Shopping times are as follows:
- 5:30pm - Tigers
- 6:00pm - Wolves
- 6:30pm - Bears
- 7:30pm - Webelos
On the days that the Holiday House is open to the public, the Scouts are expected to work a shift to help other kids with their shopping. Work times are as follows:
- Saturday 9am-11am - Chad's den & Justin's den
- Saturday 11am-1pm - Scott's den & Kerry's den
- Saturday 1pm-3pm - Brian/Lisa's den & Sheila's den
- Sunday 12pm-1:30pm - Kevin's den & Sara's den
- Sunday 1:30pm-3pm - Keith's den & Jason's den
Scouts should bring their assigned donation and 1-2 dozen cookies on Friday night.
