I am very
pleased that no one seemed to think it would be a problem to meet for our
go-see-it a little early on Monday. They would like us to be there as close
to 4 as possible, so we are going to meet at the church a little before 4 so
we can caravan to the
Midwest Poultry plant between Loda and Buckley. If you need to come
after that just meet us there and call me on my cell phone to catch up

Tuesday is
the pack meeting at 6:30 at the church. Look forward to seeing you there.
There will be
a Memorial Day Parade in which the pack will be marching on April 26th.
More details (time, place, etc) to follow.
May 2nd and
3rd is the Timbered Meadows campout. Campers allowed, family fun weekend of
camping.
We are
looking at doing a cubmobile race on June 21st. Not set in stone yet, more
details to come.
Considering
doing the 2008 Illini Jambouree when scouts camp and/or go to an Illini
football game. Big event with tons of kids from around the state.
Camp Drake
participants need to sign up, pay and get forms filled out. Forms available
on this website.
June 29th to July 2nd is the Camp Drake
Campout. We will need to sign up for this soon. Let me know if we have
Scouts and/or leaders desiring to go to scout camp. It is an incredibly
rewarding experience. Once again, if there is a financial hardship keeping
a scout from participating in this let me or John Howell know.
If you missed the January meeting you may have
missed the announcement that the pack is buying a trailer to put our
camping gear in, including the new Red Ryder BB guns donated by the
Pheasants Forever organization. It will be beautiful, complete with our
logo and pack information.
